what is Two-Gun Match July 2026?
July's two-gun match, run under the TACFIT 2-gun ruleset. Pistol and carbine stages with an open equipment policy: bring whatever you already shoot. Tactical division adds the fitness component, Standard division is shooting only.

Parking is through the gate and to the right. Do not enter the range before 8:30 AM. For TACFIT, check in at the front desk and tell them you are with DEFCON. For two-gun, check in behind the building under the covered area.
which rules apply
This event runs under the TACFIT 2-gun competition ruleset. Format, scoring, equipment, and safety are all spelled out there. Read it before you register, not the morning of.
what to bring
- any carbine, in any caliber and configuration, with a stock or shoulderable brace
- a handgun in 9mm or larger making minor power factor or better
- a belt-mounted holster that covers the trigger guard and retains under movement
- magazines and mag pouches, plus ammo for the posted stage count and a buffer
- eye protection for everyone on the range, ear protection for every shooter
